If you need additional assistance visit our Who's Who page for a complete list of e-mail addresses. Your order is maintained online at Book House, enabling our staff to answer your inquiries and enter current publisher reports. If a book is not billed within 45 days of the receipt of your order, and a publisher stock status report has not been received, our computer generates a claim to the publisher for delivery or report. As publisher reports are received, they are entered into our computer to immediately update your order status. In addition, our Customer Service staff telephones and writes publishers to ensure earliest possible delivery of out of stock titles. This continual updating assures a prompt and accurate reply to your inquiry about an open order. Our automatic claim cycle and subsequent monthly open order reports will effectively eliminate your library's need to claim. The Book House can receive your rush orders via email, fax, phone, FTP, our online order database, or from your ILS. We place rush orders as they are received with the publishers using their inventory for the highest fulfillment possible. We are able to customize our rush service to meet your requirements. Please note we do not offer discounts on rush orders.Super Service - Some of our customers require automatic Next day or 2nd day air service for their rush accounts. We place these orders immediately and request the publisher ship to the Book House via either next day or 2nd day air. If the order is not readily available for shipment we let you know the status. Depending on the library's location from the Book House, we then ship the materials out to ensure delivery from us within a 1 to 2 day time frame. Please note we do charge customers for the actual UPS fee charged by the publisher and incurred by the Book House. This charge appears on your invoice on a separate line. Drop shipments from the publisher are available in certain situations; however, we can’t be responsible for the quality of the shipment. Regular Rush Service: Our standard rush delivery is 10-15 days depending on actual publisher inventory. Rushes are billed daily and shipped ground UPS. There are no additional fees for this service. Customers can also provide a "need by date" on their rush orders and our staff will place the orders to comply. This helps to eliminate unnecessary air fees. The Book House has successfully worked with customers to tailor our services to meet their needs. We can assign a customer service representative to handle all your rushes. We can bill and ship each requester’s orders separately and put their name on the package so your receiving department can route them expeditiously. We can set up a separate rush account so you can check the status of your orders online and receive separate statements from your regular account. Just ask for what you need and we will make every effort to comply. Contact us today to customize your rush service.
